Commencement of stay in the hostel is equivalent to acceptance of these Rules and
Regulations.
All guests must be of at least 18 years of age to be able to check-in at the Hostel.
The facilities offered at the hostel are best suited to solo travellers and
backpackers. While families are welcome, do keep in mind that the services and
facilities we provide may not match the needs of one.
Piggy Hostel is a hostel for adults only. Children occasionally visiting the hostel,
i.e. at the restaurant, have to be under the constant care and supervision of
adults.
As per Government regulations, a valid Photo ID must be carried by every guest and
it is mandatory for guests to present the same at the time of check-in. The
identification proofs accepted are Passport, Aadhar Card, Driving License and Voter
ID card. PAN Card shall not be accepted as a valid ID Card. If the Guest refuses to
produce a document making it impossible to determine his/her identity, the
Receptionist will have to refuse issuance of the room key.
Check-in and check-out policy - Standard Check-In time is 2 PM and standard
Check-Out time is 11 AM.
Early Check-In and Late Check-Out is subject to availability and discretion of the
property.
Full payment for the room is mandatory at the hostel during Check-In. Any additional
charges accumulated must be paid during check-out.
The Guest should notify the front office of his/her desire to prolong his/her stay
beyond the duration indicated on arrival by 9:00 AM of the day on which the rental
period expires. The Hostel will prolong the stay subject to room availability.
Extension of the stay shall be provided according to current room rates and subject
to availability. Current room rates may differ from the rates at which the rooms
were originally booked.
Leaving belongings or being present in the room after 12:00 is treated as automatic
prolonging of the stay. If the Guest leaves the room after 12:00 the Hostel will
charge a late check-out fee of INR 1,500/USD 20.
Non-resident guests shall not be allowed inside the rooms. In case a guest wishes to
meet someone, they may do so in the common areas on the property.
Designated smoking areas are setup in the hostel. Smoking in areas other than these
designated areas shall be considered as an offence and a fine shall be imposed on
the Guest.
Guest bears full material and legal responsibility for any loss, damages or
destruction of hostel furnishings and appliances, and shall be charged for the same.
The Guest should immediately notify the front office of any loss, damage or
destruction of any item as soon as possible after it is identified.
Any items left behind by the Guest in the Hostel, shall be returned on request at
his/her expense. If such an instruction is not received, the Hostel shall store the
items till claimed.
Should any action by a guest be deemed inappropriate by the Hostel, or if any
inappropriate behavior shall be brought to the attention of the hostel, the hostel
reserves the right, after the allegations have been investigated, to ask the guest
to leave the premises without refunding payment.
The Hostel provides services according to its standard. In case the Guest has any
complaints regarding the quality of the services, he/she is requested to report them
at the front office.
The Hostel is obligated to ensure the safety of Guest’s stay, including
confidentiality of information about the Guest.
